I've always been keen on the '27 Delage with the blown ERA providing the
motion and emitting all the proper sounds (original DOHC straight eight sounds
pretty great too). A beautiful low profile, barely room for two and about as
low as a wobble bottom porsche. Plus: no weather protection! If your
significant other isn't into "wind and metal" you'll definitely be going
places by yourself, but you'll always 'attract' the potential passenger along
the way.
It's no Dakkar treker or grocery getter and totally impractical, but if you've
got one who gives a squat.
