Hi Rich,
I'm not sure I understand the wording of your e-mail.
The 100 overrider has no hump in the middle of the cutout for the bumper,
therefore the rubber seal is not forced into the horizontal groove in the
front of the 100 series bumper, yes?
While the six cyl car overiders conform to the profile of the bumper. -As
there is a hump in the overrider's cutout that corresponds to the horizontal
flute in the front of the 6 cyl bumper... Which forces the rubber strip to
conform to the contour of the bumper... Yes?
Can you clarify "there was a bit of a cut out recessed back just at each edge
where it contacts the rubber t strip"?
I've had mine confirmed....but I'd like to know the points of reference you
are using...

  Michael,
Besides there being no indentation for the centre flute on the 6 cylinder
cars, on all series overriders there was a bit of a cut out recessed back
just at each edge where it contacts the rubber t strip. I haven't seen this
done on any of the repros.

through the end of production? I'm looking for a set of originals to
replace
the reproductons on my BN1 and am wondering if any Healey overriders will
be
  correct for my car.
