Pertronix makes a high-performance coil that is available in chrome or black.
Chrome would look great in the 6-cylinder cars, and the black would look fine
(to all but a concours judge with a clipboard, of course, who would be able
to tell the difference).  But at least you wouldn't have that silly gold
anodized nonsense in your engine compartment.
