My Haynes manual which looks like a reprint of my original workshop manual
(out in the garage and not as easy to reference) states 12.5 pints (7.25
litres)
in the sump for 29 series engines so, 12 3/4 pints would make it show
overfull on the dipstick. I vaguely remember 7 quarts with oil filter change
but my
memory is not what it was and I haven't changed the oil for 22 years (car has
been a garage queen). The other suggestions have also been about right.
