Ron
Thanks for the info. I concur with your description though what you described
was the main harness. the answer I am looking for is the run of the short
2-wire harness leading from the bullet connectors on the main harness to the
horn itself.

Let me start by saying I'm no expert, but I have my original wire harness
to
compare. The complete harness runs below the turn signal relay box with
the
wires for the turn signal box coming out of the harness below the box.
After the turn signal relay wires exit the harness the rest of the harness
wires including the left and right side lights, horns, and the wires that
connect to the ones coming down the stator tube continue forward from the
area of the bottom of the turn signal relay box over the top of the
steering
box and out the front where they split up. The left horn, head light and
marker make a left turn. The right horn, head light and wires for the
stator tube wires make a right turn. The left side horn is right near
where
the wire harness splits just under or below the fresh air intake. I just
finished installing my new wire harness in a BN7 frame. Everything is
exposed. If you need a photo or two let me know and I'll be happy to send
you some in the next few days.

Sorry to repeat myself, but no one responded to my previous post.....

Can anyone describe the routing of the left (drivers) side horn harness?
  Does
it run below the turn signal relay box or above it. Is it clamped any
place
along the run and where? Thanks
