Gary,
The Mallory is completely adjustable and can be tuned to any engine.
You can change the amount of advance as well as the curve of the advance
by changing the inner springs that are available separately from
Mallory. The advance limit can be adjusted from 0" to 28" by moving the
advance plate. The vacuum advance can then be plugged. The one M***
sells has the YH advance but the spring kit they sell is for the YT
advance so be careful. My only complaint is that after 8 years I have a
tiny oil leak coming from a small hole in the bottom of the distributor
and I have heard of several others that had the same problem a few years
back. No big deal for me and I have heard that Mallory will fix it.

I am assuming there are many on the list who either are currently
running or
have tried the Mallory Dual Point Distributors on their Healeys. How do
you
correct for the loss of the Vacuum Advance? Thank you!!
