Hello Kevin,
I noticed your request to the Healey list.
No seating barrier at all is used, however if you wish to increase the ride
height at the front you can "shim" with discs the same dia as the spring,
the distance will double,  ie...half an inch spacer.equals one inch ride
height etc.
I also recommend that you fit at the top of the coil.
