Very interesting.  Thank you for posting the details
of the solicitation letter.  Sure, looks like a canned
format. 

As a follow up, I contacted Mark Hyman after posting
the original email to the list.  He said he would be
right on it and thanked me.  Hopefully that accounted
for its quick removal from ebay.  I imagine this is a
recurring problem that all major players in the
classic car business have to deal with.

Too bad there are not enough cyber-cops to stomp out
this scam for good.
