Our car is 228086 just a few cars into the BN2 run. The safety gauge is
X42638/38. GD1502/01 is listed as proper for a Bugeye Sprite.

I have two equally pristine 100-4 water/oil guages, but with different
model#'s on the dial: 42638/38 and GD1502/01. If anyone has a late 1955 BN2
(i.e., with lots of leftover BN1 pieces), I would appreciate knowing which
number is on their dual guage. It looks like the first one may has more
'aging' in the white of the dial, butit may have been on the car longer.
