I built the same system as described by Marion, thanks to his idea and
directions, but I did not build the bracket for the tank. I merely inserted
it into the hollow where the brake and clutch masters reside in a RHD car.
The weight of the tank and coolant keeps it in place just fine (unless,
perhaps, taking a small hill at "zero g" speeds).

The recovery system that I am using in my BJ8-"Blackie" consists of a used
MGB expansion tank, a Unipart pressure cap #GRC 102 for the expansion
(recovery) tank, a Unipart sealing cap #GRC 126 for the radiator and hose
to fit from
the overflow to the lower fitting on the expansion tank. You will have to
make a mounting bracket to locate the expansion tank. I located the
expansion
tank in the "Y" of the right hand side Pedal box assembly.
This system has worked exceptionally well for me for since 1994.
