I just bought a new set for my BJ8 after realizing my sturdy Michelin XZX's
were approaching the 20 year old mark.....

The guy at the local tire store (one of those old fashioned tire stores,
locally owned and been there forever) came up with a Centrex. It is a Goodyear
that is made in Brazil in a 165R15 size (no aspect ratio).

It is a B rated tire, meaning it does not have the best wear rating or
traction rating but good enough for what I intend it for. Healey tires tend to
be
replaced because of age, not mileage (unless you are Michael Oritt).

four new tires, new tubes, mounting and balancing, tire disposal fee, and tax
came to $230.

Thanks,
