Redline MT-90

Gents,

I have been using Castrol 20W50 engine oil in my gearbox as per the manual with 
no problems. 
I would like to give the MT-90 synthetic a shake but am concerned about what it 
will do to the seals in my gearbox.
Any opinions on this?  I don't want a mess on my garage floor...
