Hi All
I would appreciate some advice on a replacement flasher can. The flasher can
on my BT7 has gone to God (no flash just a constant "on"). I replaced it
with a new one and was surprised that it sort of worked - intermittently
flashed and some times the green dash light did not illuminate although the
can was flashing. All electrical connections are clean, and there doesn't
appear to be any wiring problems. I also noticed the invoice docket stated it
was for a BJ8. I returned the part.
Are the cans different between the models? Will any 12 volt flasher can
work, or is there a specific electrical rating that is required for the BT7?
