This thread has started me thinking. The rear seat area in my BT7 is
basically useless. I was thinking of moving the spare from the trunk, thus
freeing up a lockable storage space.
It would seem that a plywood shelf, with front plywood "apron" down to
floor, padded on the bottom, carpeted on the top, and bolted to the
shoulder-belt attachment points, would provide a totally non-invasive, and
quite useful platform that could be returned to original configuration in
just a very few minutes.
Anyone else done anything like that? Pictures?
