Hey, Isn't this supposed to be prime AH weather time???? Here in RI, we have
had 2 weeks of cloud, mist, rain, deluge, drizzle, downpour, fog, and more
rain. --More consecutive days of rain than since May 2000, with all time
record rain totals--by far!
Last night, my Grand Cherokee was almost swallowed up on one of the back roads
near here. --and trailer queen or not, I'm not taking the Healey out to see if
it can double as a "Shwimvagen" or "duck boat". --With pontoons maybe.
Everything is sticky, damp, soggy, and waterlogged. The drains are backed up,
toilets slow, --welcome to "Waterworld".
--Just when I had the Healey running properly, and primed for some fall tours
too!! --It did give me the chance to replace the generator front bearing that
I'd been putting off. --Hey it only sounded a little like a coffee grinder! I
may even get the gas gauge fixed, and throw away the measuring stick I have
had in the garage...
Anyway, I just wanted to vent. Prime Healeying season, literally going down
the drain. Please, some sun, ---before the snows come.
(All of this with apologies to Healey friends in Mississippi, Louisiana, and
Texas). --All things are relative.

IF we ever see the sun again, here in New England, --are there any organized
LBC fall tours, foliage tours, or meets/meetings going on?
