If you are interested in seeing what can happen when a tire lets go at say 75
MPH Go to the ntahc.org site and click Past Events, then click 2005 Freedom
Tour. The cost of repair is much more than the cost of a complete set of new
tires. This was a steel belted tire with less than 5000 miles on it, but the
same results can and will be obtained when your old tire seperates the tread
from
the case.

Don't drive on old tires!
