John: Oilways in the oil sump??? I doubt that even Healeys had this speciality

Manuel: Maybe dirt has entered the oil system and clogged an oilway.

Could be that your gasket is from a similar Austin or BMC engine but 
does not have the oilway holes needed when fitting it to a 100. Did you 
check the new against the old?
