I have an antenna that tapes to the inside of the front windscreen. Goes
around the edge. You can barely see it and the reception is good. Don't have
to worry about drilling the fender for an antenna. PO did it....don't know
where he got it.

In some of the high end car stereo stores, I have seen electronic antennas
(in
matte black, which telescope down to 3" long, then fold flat, clipping into
a
black base which is only about 3/4 inches tall.... Don't know if that
would
be an alternative to your liking or not. --I had one on one of my previous
cars, and the performance was great.
