Michael,

Have you contated any Sunbeam clubs? Might find someone who has a
parts pile.

Sorry to ask for non-Healey related parts assistance:

I need a set of spare front brake shoe frames (used would be just
fine) to
send to Porterfield for relining with Carbon/Kevlar shoes. The shoe
frames
carry the designation #219 in the FNSI catalogue and they are 9" in
diameter and
1.5" or 1.6" wide. They would be for a 1958 Elva Courier that I
recently
purchased and were also supposedly used on contemporary Hillmans,
Standards, Saabs,
Sunbeams, Singers and Rileys, maybe others.

I have combed all the standard parts houses and it seems that 219's
have been
discontinued. I called Kip's Orphans but they were not encouraging.
Any
suggestions on where I might find such obscure parts will be greatly
appreciated.

Best--Michael Oritt
