Ken's suggestion is good. If nothing of interest at Sears Point, and you've
had enough good California wine, you might consider the following Golden
Gate Austin Healey Club Tech Session event at British Car Specialists in
Stockton which is a little over an hour away. See event notice below.

Get-Ready Tech

Session March 4

REMINDER: Dave and Norman Nock will be going over a car in
preparation for the tours this season, and they'll cover what to be ready
for if something happens on the road.

They will also cover some of the common problems seen on Healeys
and what to do to prevent them, and how to set up the carburetors and
ignition timing. Dave and Norm will also will go over the electrical
systems and discuss what to do to prevent electrical problems.

          The session starts at 10:30.

A volunteer's car is needed to use as a guinea pig so if you'd
like to have your car checked over during this Tech Session, give Dave or
Norm a call at 209-948-8767. Please also call if you are planning on
attending so the Nocks can make arrangements at their shop.

The session will be held at British Car Specialists 2060 North
Wilson Way in Stockton.

To get there go east on Rte 4 off I-5 in Stockton to the Wilson
Way exit. Turn left under Rte 4 and go about 3 miles to 2060. The shop is on
the right. If coming from the east, use Rte. 99 and exit at Wilson Way.
Shop is on the left about a mile down the road.
