Not necessarily. --I've seen a number of cases of vandalism, --just because
the vandal was jealous. Two of my friends classics have been keyed. I was out
in my father in law's model A roadster once, and had a clown in a junker
Pontiac try everything he could to run us off the road. --He was a jealous
kid.
That's why I don't like to leave the Healey unattended much. --There's always
someone who figures if they can't have one, everyone else should be miserable
too.
I hate saying it. --It's a sad statement. But I've seen it too much.

What is the point of all that? I'd have more respect for them if they
stole parts off the cars for cash... rather than destroying them.

It reminds me of the time when I was at Berkeley, and early one
morning I was walking to class along the road, and I noticed that some
wanker had walked down the entire road the night before and smashed
every car window that was parked along the entire street... it was
about 35 cars in a row that were vandalized. I'm sure the guy thought
it was hilarous when he was doing it.

My only comment on the Jag - crack up is it seems somewhat
intentional, i.e. someone who knows the owner was the one who did
  this....
