Sounds like the throttle switch is not operating properly. Its purpose is to 
hold the OD engaged, after the main switch is disengaged, until the throttle 
is opened to bring the engine RPMs up. This is intended to prevent excessive 
stresses that might occur when the OD disengages at speed. The manual tells 
how it should be adjusted.
