I bought dunlops lastummer. Put on new tyres, had them balanced. No problem.
Car rode better than it did before. Theylook fine. I'm happy with them.
(I put the EBC disc pads on at the same time to avoid having so much brake
dust. Happy with that too)

Pieter,

I bought the Dunlops about a year ago and I'm really satisfied with them. No
need to adjust them prior installing and no need to adjust up to now. Did
~2,000 miles on them with no problems, but had them balanced on the car,
which
made a huge difference in riding smoothness.

On the other hand, I happened to see the Daytons on a fair some month ago
and
can surely say one can see why they are more pricey.

Betreff: Dayton or Dunlop?

Hello All,

I am looking at buying a new set of chrome 72 spoke wire wheels for my BJ7.
What is the lists opinion on Dayton verses the Dunlop type sold by the
English parts suppliers. Do Dunlops need adjusting before or shortly after
first fitting. The Dunlops are considerably cheaper to buy but is it false
economy?

Thanks

Pieter
