Paul,
If you are in luck, all you will need is a new inexpensive friction disc
from Moss. Otherwise, you may find that the threads on the stud or nut
are damaged/worn and do not allow tightening anymore. The threads are an
odd pitch, but you can buy a new bolt and weld it in as a stud
replacement. To be effective, that thread pitch must be maintained. I
wrote an article on rebuilding these things and will send it if I can
find it.
