color question

Is the centerpiece in the BJ8 dash always black?  I'm about to redo the 
interior of mine in blue. The previous owner had the original BRG 
changed to Healey Blue, but redid the interior in black. I don't 
remember whether the center of the dash should also be done in blue or 
if all of them are black.
I might find this in "The Original Big Healey" but I'm lazy tonight and 
know some of you can answer this.
