Ditto. I started using distilled water exclusively with antifreeze in all
my cars when I discovered about 1/4 inch (6.5 mm for the
English-impaired...) of deposits in the bottom of the water jacket during
rebuild of my engine, in spite of regular flushes.

As standard practice I now always use distilled water in the radiator.
It's pretty cheap in the gallon jugs from the supermarket.
