The EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association < http://www.eaa.org >) museum's
south runway is 6 miles north of my farm. We get an almost daily show of
historical aircraft and aeronautical oddities. As the annual EAA Fly In
approaches on the calendar, it really gets interesting.

Famous film director Sir Richard Attenborough was at the Canadian Warplane
Heritage Museum for the last two weeks filming scenes for an upcoming movie.

This flying museum is virtually over my back fence.

Last Monday there was a lot of activity including a fellow having way too
much fun in a Harvard. Then the sound of something radial and heavy and a
B-17g Flying Fortress flew circles right over the house at a little less
than 1000 ft. about every 4 minutes for about half an hour. It's the one
from Genneseo New York. Then they did a series of landings and takeoffs.
Pretty neat for an American plane. Still not quite the thrill of our
resident Lancaster.

Spoiled rotten with vintage aircraft.
