Before I finish reassembling the gear box I want to ask this question. Should the cones that the syncro rings slide onto be bright? Mine seem to be tarnished or have some king of residue on them. Should they be shinny like a bearing surface? TIA, Ned Smith BJ8 near Chattanooga, TN N34.98 W85.5 |
