I'm installing the door glass - I took a lister's suggestion and installed the
regulator so that the spring assists on the way up - and when I wind the glass
down at about half way I start getting resistance like something is binding.
When I stop and go back up there is a sharp loud metallic snap that comes from
the geared plate or thereabouts.
Has anyone had this happen and know what is needed to eliminated the "snap"
and the stiffness encountered when winding down "against the spring".
