Ok, Big Cheers to Greg for guessing correctly what this car is:

Unfortunately Greg didn't get the extra credit.

This looks like the prototype, so my guess it is a 1952 model. That
means this car was designed in produced at the same time at the 100.
Note the close similarity in design.

Some other links which shows what this car looks like:

The car was fitted with a BMW engine in two forms, either 100 hp or
125 hp (Grand Sport version).

The car was produced from 1952 to 1954 and only 14 were made. One of
them was fitted with an Austin Atlantic engine at the factory (same
engine as the AH 100). I wonder if Austin was toying with the idea of
this car in 1952 before going with the Healey 100?

Of interest this car looks to me a stylistic cross between the 100 and
the Jaguar XK120. The front isn't particularly attractive if you ask
me, but the profile is very fast looking. The car is bare bones, but
with a tubular chassis is probably very light and great for the track.

Top speed of the Grand Sport version was 200 kph. Fast!
