Fuel tank sending units

Hi Steve,

I bought a plastic float type from a standard vendor.  I found the plastic
float inadequate in size to read accurately.  I was ready to send it back.
But before I did I did an experiment and I took it apart and switched the
float arm with my original can type sender, switched top plates (original
having markings vs cheap repro) ..  It is no longer erratic and appears
original.
