I have fitted Pertronix to a couple of cars and have had about 8 trouble 
free years (ignition wise anyway) with the things, I carry a spare set of 
points, condensor, wired up cap, plugs, and now the latest is an  SU fuel 
pump to replace the Facet I fitted.

Good point about electronic iginition and the Facet pump as well being 
pretty much non-repairable items, I guess it makes it more like a modern 
car, more reliable, but harder to fix!
