Doesn't sound correct. BJ8 after '65 used BTC 372 and BTC 373.
Prior to that 1B 4517 or BTC324.
However these are assembly numbers and the forgings may have different
numbers.
However BTB sounds more like MGB to me.
If you do a search on our web site all the BTB parts appear to be MGB
