There are about a dozen of them, as well as a bunch of Caravelles here in
the local classic junk yard..

Renault Dauphine. I remember them well. Most Renaults were pretty foul but
the Dauphines won prizes. They must have been cheap or something as they
were not unpopular. I seem to recall that they were distinctively noisy or
they had a unique noise of their own. I doubt there are many left now except
down in the dryer south of France.

Going through photos for a memorial service recently, I fond these 
photos of the car my parents owned in 1961. It's a little rear-engined 
French looking car. It's definitely NOT a big Healey, but then my 
parents were confounded by my interest in old British cars. Can you tell 
me what it is?
