Hi -
I saw this show called "Classic Car Club" on Discovery "Real Time" channel
here in Hong Kong. The show is produced in the UK, so it may be on another
channel in the UK.
Anyway, the hostess (Penny Mallory) of the show went on to drive a Healey
blue over white BJ7 which looked to be in perfect shape. The hostess said
it was just about her absolute favorite for any car she has EVER driven.
The only thing she mentioned as a drawback was the incredible amount of heat
coming through the cockpit... obviously a very good restoration but the
owner did not finish the job and seal up all the gaps around the tunnel from
the last clutch change!!
tsk tsk... whoever runs the healey club in the UK should have made sure that
a very tight and buttoned up healey restoration be put on the show... it's
good for our resale values!
