There is a company in Holland that makes a collapsible steering column
which lets you retain the trafficator fully functional. To a much
better price than what Cape offers. Capes solution is very nice and
very much racing with a removable quick lock steering wheel but very
pricey.

I don4t know the company in Holland but I know their resellers in
England, A Head 4 Healeys; http://www.ahead4healeys.co.uk/
I suggest that you phone them about this.

The cheapest but more labour intensive option is to go to the junk
yard and buy a modern collapsible column and by cutting and welding,
incorporating the unit into your Healey column. I4ve done this several
times and I have used the parts from an Opel Astra.
