I asked Margaret at MOMA that question and she said that the chrome to glass
seal is not available and what they are using is a thin rubber extrusion that
comes on a bobbin like yarn. she puts about three wraps of the stuff into the
recess on the chrome ring, sandwiches it with the glass and clamps it onto the
instrument case. She gave me enough to do the gauges on my Land Rover and it
was a pretty simple fix.
