Dan,

If the "bolt" is on the top of the overdrive, it is probably the plug which
covers the actuating valve.  If it is under the solenoid bracket on the left
side of the unit, then it is the oil pump non-return valve.  Either one
could be a cause of insufficient oil pressure.
