As a former Indy resident, I attended many 500s (and Brickyards and two F 1s).
Try to get seats in one of the corners at least fifteen rows up - higher is
better. This is the only way to actually see the cars race.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is not the best from the standpoint of the
spectator. But the 500 is an assume event!
Wish I was going again.
