Chris, I inquired about trim adhesive from my auto paint supply store and they offered me two versions of the 3M in a spray can. One is stronger than the other, but it also attacks foam so it isn't recommended for the modern foam backed headliners. OK for pure vinyl, leather, or leathercloth.
