Of course if you want to be safe on the road I would stay away from
the old antique style tires and put some good safe radial tires on
the car. Some of the vintage tires are made from some of the old
antiquated molds and are not a quality tire. So i would recommend
that you be safe and get the most out of your car and either install
60 or 72 spoke wheels with a modern 185 70 radial tire.
