Yup, I can see your point, Charlie.

It's just that I'm an inveterate electroniker, and am always interested in 
homebrewing electronics circuits (which you can see on my Web pages). That's 
why I asked. In the world of ham radio and electronics a lot of designs are 
published and shared.
