Hit or miss on the alignment, but be aware that the pump has a front and
back side that provides clearance with the casting. Very subtle, but will
make a mess of a good unit.

Hi Friends,

With the most valuable help of the tech material I found on John Sim's site
(thanks John!), I was able to understand the overdrive operation throughly,
and soo found my problem: the oil pump has got stucked half-way down in its
bore and only had a limited movement. Thus it supplied insufficent oil for
the system. I have polished the piston, and voila: it is working! BTW is
there any trick to install the pump accuratly to meet the two holes drilled
for the two small bolts? I did it trial-and-error way, and it was quite time
consuming.

Have a nice sunday:
Gergo
