I have had good luck with Brad Penn oil which is a synthetic blend
loaded with zinc phosphate additives. The price is about the same as mineral
oils. It may be obtained as a 10W30 weight or as 20W50 weight. I am using
the 20W50 and I have no issues with oil pressure or oil breakdown.
