BN1 backing plates the return springs go thru a hole in the plate and =
the BN2 plates have a peg for the return springs.

The wire wheel cars the center of the backing plate is flat on the front =
and back sides and rounded on the top and bottom.

The Disc wheel cars the center of the backing plate is recessed and =
round. Also the wheel cylinders are different and I think they use a =
5/16 stud=20

This is just from memory. the BN1 plates will have 3/8" diameter holes =
where they fixes to the stub/swivel axle. Later ones are 7/16"

BN1 original part numbers are Girling GB40744-5 should you find any =
numbers. The last number denotes left or right ; I cannot remember which =
off hand.

I was of the opinion that BN2 and BN4/6 wire wheel were the same but I =
have checked and they do seem to carry different part numbers.

Only part of what you need in the way of information but this might =
help.

Best regards

The part numbers are as follows:

  BN1 ....7H4266

  BN2....17H4157

  BN4/6 wire wheel ....1B4496

  BN4-6 disc wheel.....1B4451

I have looked in vain for a part number and although there are subtle =

  Can anyone help?
