The water for the heater travels from the valve on the side of the cylinder=
head to the heater valve on the heater. Then thru the heater to the lower =
radiator hose.=20
If you connect the heater valve on the heater box to the lower radiator hos=
e the water will not flow thru the heater. For some reason the water will n=
ot go backwards thru the heater valve on the heater box.=20

Hi Mike,=20
The radiator hose on the water pump carries coolant INTO the water pump.=20
Therefore the flow through the heater core goes back into the cooling syste=
m at the lower radiator hose.=20

Usually I am trying to cool the cockpit, but recently, as fall weather come=
s into play, my copilot has expressed the need for more heat. The heater se=
ems not be doing such a good job and as part of my troubleshooting it would=
be helpful to know which way the coolant (heatant?) flows: from the water =
pump to the heater core of from the engine to the heater core?=20

Thanks, Mike=20
