I've used a Wix# 51516 for many years with no issues. It has a silicone ant=
i-drainback valve and just fits next to the servo (but doesn't have a hex n=
ut; spin-on filters shouldn't be tightened so tight they can'r be removed w=
ithout tools).=20

I believe Napa sells re-branded Wix filters.=20

Hi,=20

I=E2=80=99ve recently fitted a spin-on kit onto my 3000, the one that goes =
straight onto the block.=20

Which filters do you guys use? My kit came with a Unipart GFE 166 (CB6). I =
don=E2=80=99t know what the CB6 means.=20

I gather that the GFE 166 has been superseded by the GFE 443.=20

So far as I can see it does not have an anti-drain back valve and it seems =
rather small for a 3 litre engine.=20

Ideally I=E2=80=99d like a longer filter with a valve and hopefully a hex o=
n the end for easier removal. Can=E2=80=99t go wider or it will be into the=
 starter motor.=20

Any ideas???=20

Thanks,=20
