In the midst of the refurbishment of my 100 I have discovered that the gril=
le that came with the car is about 1/2" to 3/4" short of fitting the grille=
opening in the shroud in the vertical direction. I had considered this to =
be due to production tolerances and planned to modify the shroud to fit the=
grille, but then it occurred to me that there are a couple different grill=
e designs for the 100s and that this being an early car may have been equip=
ped with an earlier version of the grille.

Does anyone have any information on whether any early cars were equipped wi=
th the earlier peaked grille (as used on the prototype) or how many if any =
were equipped with the interim flat topped grille and whether there would h=
ave been differences in the size of the grille opening.

If I have the wrong grille I would like to explore acquiring the correct pa=
rt rather than modifying the shroud.

Thanks to the group.
