As an aside on relevant materials, Roger Moment published a series of
37 articles in Austin Healey Magazine on Restoration Methods from
Feb/Mar 2006 to Sept/Oct 2011. They cover just about everything from
look before you leap through the total restoration process, piece by
piece with photos and specific advice for most models of the Big
Healey.
You might think of these articles as a 'supplement' to Anderson and
Moment's book. This part concentrates on how tos rather than what
was's. It is available for downloading and reading to members of the
Austin Healey Club, USA. In my opinion it is worth membership just to
be able to download these articles although of course there are many
other aspects of membership.
When people are spending wierd amounts of money for a copy of Anderson
and Moment, I think Moment's 37 chapters, truly a labor of love, are a
bargain. Roger won't get a penny from it, but you will learn a whole
lot.
