Wait, wait , wait .....
If the pump is going tickety tick then there is gaseous fuel in the pump!!!
If there is gaseous fuel in the pump nothing, absolutely nothing that you
do to the fuel lines after the pump, be it mumbo jumbo or abrakadabra, will
stop the pump from ticking.
